The Model Audiovisual Market (MOMAV) is an event that brings together students and professionals of film, video, television and animation in the country for three days of talks, panels, pitch sessions, forums and workshops led by national and international experts.
We are proud to announce that this year we will celebrate the fifth edition of our event on June 3, 4 and 5.
We will explore the industry from a global perspective, discussing possibilities and limitations with the unique vision of local and international filmmakers. From co-production to the use of AI as a creative tool, we will address the most relevant topics of the moment. Take advantage of our call for pitches for short-form series, where you will have the opportunity to receive valuable feedback from local industry experts.

Call for Pitch Series
MoMav 2024 Series Pitch Call
We are pleased to announce the call for submissions for the MoMav 2024 Pitch Session. If you have a series project in mind, this is your chance to have your story heard and evaluated by a panel of audiovisual industry professionals.
We invite young filmmakers and audiovisual professionals to submit their proposals. Projects of all serial formats, genres, and distribution mediums are welcome. For more information, follow us on Instagram @cineusfq. All projects must be in the initial stage to participate in the pitch sessions, which will take place on Wednesday, June 5th as part of MoMav 2024.
We firmly believe in the talent of new creators. For this reason, we have launched this call aimed at:
- Film students and/or audiovisual career students.
- Young professionals in the industry up to 35 years old.
You can register by accessing the payment button located at the bottom of the page and selecting the option "Pitch Call Participants $35 USD". For this fee, you can attend all talks within MoMav and, if your project is selected, participate in a Pitch Workshop and the Official Session. Here, you will present your story to a panel of industry experts who will provide valuable feedback and advice. In addition, winning proposals will receive prizes awarded by Femmakers and 2B Latam for the development of their audiovisual proposal.
Participant Conditions - MoMav 2024 Pitch:
- Eligible Projects: Short serial fiction or documentary projects by students and/or young professionals up to 35 years old.
- Number of Projects: Each participant may submit only one series project, whether fiction or documentary.
- Registration Deadline: The deadline for project submissions is May 15th. To participate, interested parties must complete the registration form provided at the following link [Link]. No registrations will be accepted after this date.
- Each candidate must upload a single PDF dossier including the following:
- Cover page with project title and contact information of the responsible person.
- Genre and subgenre (action, adventure, science fiction, comedy, drama, fantasy, musical, etc.).
- Format (number of episodes, duration, platform).
- Target audience (who the project is aimed at).
- Tagline (phrase or slogan that summarizes and sells the project).
- Logline (define the essence of the story in one or two sentences).
- Synopsis (series summary) maximum 1 page.
- Brief description of characters (main, secondary, characteristics).
- Style, tone, structure, and narrative singularities references.
- Brief biography and/or filmography of the author, screenwriter, producer, or showrunner (maximum 1 page).
- Project status.
- Pitch Session Dynamics: On Wednesday, June 5th, each participant will have 3 minutes for their pitch plus 3 minutes of questions and answers.
- Preselection: Selected projects will be announced on May 28th through the official film career page @cineusfq.
- Mandatory Attendance: All selected participants must attend the workshop on May 31st and the Pitch Session on Wednesday, June 5th.
- Free Accreditation: Selected participants will have free access to all activities scheduled by MoMav 2024.
- Material Use Authorization: By registering for the contest, participants authorize the use of materials related to their projects for promotional and event dissemination purposes.

Speakers
Juan Pablo Solano
He is a partner and vice president of the production house “Jaguar Bite” in Colombia, which offers production services for international films and series for studios such as Warner Brothers, NBCUniversal and independent production companies such as Annapurna, with whom he recently produced the series “The Changeling”. He leads original projects in development for Colombia, Mexico and the US.
Marcelo Pont
Production Designer and Art Director in feature films, series and advertising films. As Production Designer he has worked for the creative duo Cohn & Duprat in the Star+ series “El Encargado” with Guillermo Francella and “Nada” with Robert De Niro and Luis Brandoni. He was Cinematographic Art Director on Juan José Campanella's “El Secreto de sus Ojos” (Oscar for Best Foreign Film 2010). He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Argentina and Founding Member of the Argentine Association of Art Directors (AADA).
Nelson Quimbay
Outstanding artist from Bogota who fuses technology with art. Currently, he leads innovative projects at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he promotes the development and use of virtual production, motion capture and various artificial intelligence tools, contributing to research in various disciplines. His work focuses on exploring the boundaries between creativity, technology and learning, exploring the future of audiovisual creation.
Stephen Wolf
Stephen Wolf is Senior Vice President of Production Finance at US independent production company Annapurna, which he joined in 2017 in order to create the production finance department. He is currently responsible for financing for film, television, animation and theatrical productions. Prior to joining Annapurna, Stephen spent 7 years at HBO in the Production Finance and Budgeting department. Among others, he oversaw “Nimona”, an Oscar 2024 nominated animated feature film, and the series “Game of Thrones”, “Westworld” and “True Detective”.
